Hi everyone, i found this site by accident 3 days before my surgery.
I went in last wednesday, surgery thursday and home saturday.
I cannot believe that I feel this good only 5 days post-op. Dont get me wrong, I have a sore throat my neck and shoulder muscles are screaming at times but compared to how I felt going down for surgery - this is a massive improvement. but in my excitement to go home i forgot to ask a couple of questions so if anyone can help:-
1. how long do the dissolvable stitches take to heal over? ie can I go without a dressing yet and shower properly.
2. Although physio give me some exercises to do for my neck because of how I felt pre-op I left myself go significantly - how soon would you advise gentle exercise?
