I am prospective lower back fusion patient and I don't want to be. I live in Northern Virginia and I am looking for a doctor who does disc replacement surgery successfully in my area. I am really interested in this option as opposed to fusion surgery. Is there anyone out there who has had this surgery in my area? I saw a Bonita Cook in Maryland and would really be interested in contacting her. There was also a guy in Maryland who had this surgery done successfully. Although now I can't find his blog. If anyone out there has anything to share, PLEASE CONTACT ME.

  • I hope you find your guys in your area...my doc does replacements on the right candidates of course...I had both...replacement and fusion...I had 2 discs that needed fixed and might as well get them done at the same time...since the FDA only allows ONE replacement per person for surgeries done is US...I had to have both...I'm all the way over here in CA...hope the best for you!!!
