Ok so Ive been reading from this forum for approx last 6yrs since my first neck injury and ortho told me that eventually I would need an acdf surgery in the future. Well its been 6yrs later and 2 more injuries and the time Dr x warned me about is here in 12 days lol. I just want to thank all those unknowns for the information and tips Ive read from this site over the years, my c4-6 surgery is scheduled for June 7th and I think I am pretty prepared on what to expect and I researched so many surgeons over the yrs and I have the utmost faith and confidence with the surgeon I have chosen, he is one of the top spinal surgeons in NYC and I feel good. I have a list I gathered from numerous postings os items i will need post op. I am on day 5 of quitting smoking and feel great, urges are less and less now. And I look forward to recovering workfree during the summer months :) Thanks again to all that have posted tips and suggestions on pre-op and post-op here, I feel prepared and ready for this now THANKS!!!
