I've always posted about my hubby being my "best friend, lover and confidant" ...and of course a great supporter and my rock. I was going to cook a treat for dinner tonight, but after doing some house chores - some of which I had to grip some things tight, my hand went into megga spasm and cramp mode. I texted my hubby to advise him that I had to bump his treat to tomorrow night. Oh, the treat din-din that he loves, Cream Tuna over Toast. Basic yes, but a home cooked favorite.
I was finishing my 10 miles on my stationary elliptical when he came in. He asked how I was doing, and I let him know the cramps backed off a bit, but still flaring. "Thanks very much for asking." Then he pulls from behind his back a bag with my 'din-din'.. He then opens everything up and sets my dinner space. 2 steaming hot Maine Lobsters with melted butter, mashed potatoes and a garden salad! How cool is that? Oh, and since I usually have 2 Bud Lites (when we go out for Lobster night), 2 longneck Bud Lites!
I'm still smiling from ear to ear! Is he a cool 'keeper' of a hubby or what? Gawd, love that man. Looks like I picked a winner when I said "I do" 20+ years ago! (G)
Thanks for listening, had to share my surprise dinner, and further add my loving and caring hubby!! I wish you all a hubby/wife like mine!!! 8>
