27 year old with severe cervical spinal stenosis!

I was diagnosed last year with cervical spinal stenosis. In 10 momnths I have progrssed so badly that I was bed ridden. I could barely move. Unable to work and do basic everyday tasks. The pain was chronic. I had an MRI last month and I have a herniated disk pinching a nerve, two bulging disks and a bone spur. This ranges from my C-3 to my C-7. I am so young and I was born with this. I go to a neurologist next month. I just wish I had someone young to talk to, to get feed back from. someone who can relate to what I am going threw. The doctors do not seem to know whats going on. And have never seen this in someone my age and prgressing so fast.

  • I don't know if you are the same person as Trigida who recently posts, but if not, you're about the same age.

You can read my response to that post.

Have you been to a neurosurgeon or orthosurgeon to results? I would recommend you find one good in your area to consult. They can evaluate the results and if the issue should be addressed surgically or not. You could still see the neurologist to get his/her opinion and advice. I would hate to see you delay seeing a surgeon.

    Take care,
