I'm new in a wheelchair b/c my spinal stenosis has become so bad. I have also been diagnosed with a small synovial cyst at L5-S1. I have been self intermittent bathing for 6+ months b/c of neurotic bladder. This all started 2 yrs ago. I did have a ACDF at C6-C7 in 2007. I was diagnosed with a spinal cord contusion and has some neuro deficits. I now am confined to a wheelchair and want to know if anyone else has cervical stenosis that has progressed enough to be put in a chair.

  • Not in a chair yet...but using a cane - if my hubby has his way, wheelchair is next on the list!!!

Have your doctors recommended anything to relieve you stenosis? Laminectomy comes to mind - take the pressure off. One would think that there would be something they would offer?

    PCTF C4 - T2, Laminectomies C5, C6 & C7. Severe Palsy left arm/hand.
  • no not yet but I have days I feel I need to be. I hope they can do something for you and all of us, take care Larry
