Foot pain

I have been a member of this forum for some time but forgot ll my log in details so created a new account!
I have had spinal stenosis and DDD for some years. A few years ago I had an X stop inserted between L3/L4 with limited success. My consultant is considering a laminectomy but wants to wait as the disc between L5/S1 has gone and the vertebrae are showing signs of fusing so he doesn't want to disturb this process. I get all the usual symptoms (muscle spasms in the lower back, pain in the buttock, sciatica, nerve tingling etc) but recently I have experienced pain in the balls of both feet which can be very sore as though walking on pebbles.
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms and if so is this just another symptom of spinal stenosis and DDD? Could it be that I have subconsciously altered my posture which is putting more pressure on the balls of my feet? Any feedback would be welcome.
