My appointment yesterday

I had my Neurosurgeon appointment yesterday. He said that he looked over my MRI's and said that he can't do much for my lumbar area but my neck is a wait and see thing for surgery. He said my Cervical Stenosis isn't bad enough yet to warrant surgery but in the long run, he suspects that someday i will need surgery for it. he doesn't recommend injections in the neck area as there can be some complications that he didn't want to expose me to and it is only a temporary relief and not a fix for my problem. i liked him and that if someday I need surgery I hope that he is still practicing as a surgeon. :-)
