Have you ever wished that you could just turn back the clock to a time where you were not experiencing the pain, discomfort, stress, etc that chronic patients do?
For me, I would probably have to turn the clock back so far, it would be before the modern day clocks were invented and it would have to be a sand clock!
Nevertheless, take a stroll back in time before you started experiencing the discomfort, before all of the treatments, before the surgeries and medications.
Feels good to do that, doesnt it!
In reality, we all know that some things just cant happen.
But in many respects, all the members here are lucky to have each other. Dealing with chronic pain and family can be a difficult situation and just adds to the strain. Here, you talk with others who understand your situation, your problems, your mindset, your ups and downs.
Plus we all have at our disposals two great tools for relaxing and unwinding.
1 - Spine-Health CHAT room. Let your hair down , go into chat and unwind a bit.
2 - The CASUAL CORNER Forum section. There you have categories about Good News, Lighter and Brighter discussions, and the Water Cooler, where you can just hang out.
So do I really want to turn the Clock Back? Perhaps in a way, but physically and emotionally I have gained so much over the years. I am very happy with my life and Spine-Health with all the members has been a big part in making this happen. When I log on here and get a chance to respond to posts or create my own thread, I am in a different zone. My medical problems almost seem to be put on hold for even just the short while.
Turn the clock back? Nope, I want to turn it forward to see what great things will happen tomorrow and the next day and the next day and forever.
