abdominal pain

I have been having abdominal pain that causes shortness of breath for years. I have had all kinds of tests including endoscopies, colonoscopies etc. I have even had heart catherizations as well as stress tests. I recently had an mri that says I have mild anterior wedging of the T6 and T7 verebral bodies with Schmorl's node deformities. It says that left paracentral disc protrusion indenting left ventral cord at T5-6. My question is, has anyone else had these problems or know of someone who has and what is it that can be done...any info will be appreciated...thanks George...

  • George , I wish that had some info for you but I do not...I just wanted to wish you the best in finding out what is going on and hopefully that it can be resolved and quickly!!! Please keep us posted as to how you are doing and hopefully someone will come along that might have some better insight for you. All the best to you dear...take care!!
  • George,

First let me say welcome to spine-health. Have a look around there are others whom are dealing with thoracic spine issues. You might want to post in that section(forum), as those dealing with thoracic issues seem to post there more often. I can tell you from my experience with my thoracic depending on the level the pain is around my mid section. When the pain is intense I do seem to loose my breath. You might also look at a dermatone map and see if that matches any of your symptoms. Have you seen a spine specialist? If so did they have any answers to your MRI? If you have not you might want to make a appointment and discuss treatment options.

Just thought I would stop by and welcome you to spine-health. Keep in mind being a holiday weekend not everyone is online like normal. Keep us posted on what you find out.
