After yrs. of back pain am now 55 F and trying to cope with bad stenosis; I am homebound currently just go to pain management clinic for treatment and cannot believe I am not active as I used to be; mentally very hard on me right now I am caring for my 5 yr. old grandson he & his mom live with me she is at work; it bothers me that I cannot lift him and play with him there is a lot more emotionally but am wondering if anyone else is in my shoes thanks, and glad for this message board ! keiamb in nyc


  • hi and welcome to the forum! :H we are here to offer you support and answer what questions we can. i am 55 myself and have a four year old living in the house! it is not easy by any means and i am sure you must be as tired and worn out as i am.. it is so difficult to have pain and young children! please know you are not alone.. pm me anytime you feel like chatting.. i hope you get some pain relief in the meantime.. stop by the forum anytime! good luck!     Stenosis can be painful but there are many different ways in which this can be treated.

    Take a look at Spinal Stenosis

    You will get a lot more details about this condition.
