Stenosis and PT

Hello everyone. I am sure that everyone knows what I am talking about when family members want to start blaming you for your back condition continuing,I don't take it to heart.

What I write about is that it truly seems that my current stenosis pain certainly does or did seem to rear its ugly head after I started PT. We waited almost a full year(after a l5-s1 fusion) and the exercise I was doing were leg presses, but the angle was only around 15%. I did not feel I was overdoing it at all.It seems someone or something needs to be found as the guilty party. The real problem is is that my family is simply tierd of me saying my back hurts, unless there is some concensus that my doctor ordered PT was out of line in some way. Thanks

  • It is tough when you don't feel the support you want from your family. I try not to talk about the pain that I'm in. People can see that I'm in pain because of how I move. If I can't do something or have to stop doing something because of the pain I say that I can't or have to stop. I don't know if this is the right approach, but it's what I do.

I hope you find some relief soon.
