  • I am about 5 weeks post microD and my numbness is almost gone. I had a lot of numbness in my left feet on the right side but it's almost zero now. I am it will go in about 6 weeks. I'm sure
  • hi,i had numbness for 8 mths prior to surgery and still have it now 3 weeks post surgery.i think its quite normal the longer the nerves were compressed the longer theyre gunna take to heal.and during surgery they move the nerves about etc so nerves can get angry.if its new numbness ask if its normal if its not new then yes its normal until the nerves heal.
  • When I woke up from my L5-S1 PLIF my entire leg was numb (couldn't walk etc) over the course of a few days I got my leg back with left foot numbness. It was completely numb for weeks. It has been almost 3 years and I have about 95% of my foot back (lost 2 toes).

You have plenty of time still. It could take several more weeks.

    Hang in there :)
