My mother underwent a (failed) laminectomy some years back.
Her GP attended the surgery & reported later that her leg jumped while the surgeon was operating.
What could have caused this & any likely effect?

  • I am not sure i understand your quesrion. Any affects such as what? If it was done years ago you should already know if it had any adverse affect or not. If it did not cause dr to damage any nerves then there is no affects in the outcome of the surgery. How is she doing? Lami dont akways resolve the problem so if it failed they may have to further look at whats going on.
