My wife was diagnosed with a 7mm bulge in L5, I work for a pain management and we tried the epidural injection twice and did not releave her pain at all, due to the size of the bulge she was refer to a neurosurgeon who is performing a microdiscectomy on her on Sept 6, really hope it works, he is also sending her to PT after two weeks of the procedure.
