I finally got a call from the PA at my doctor's office a little while ago and they are sending me in for some nerve testing..I have to have an EMG done on both legs...that is going to kill...i have had a few before but i think that it depends on the doctor who does the testing if it "hurts" or not...but i have 2 bad legs so i gotta psych myself up for this when i have it done..and i believe that if this shows nothing then i have a MRI or CT scan coming...but hopefully they'll find something..i cant imagine being in this much pain and having absolutely nothing wrong..but I will keep you posted on things go...but for right now that is what they said and it is better than nothing...

  • Good luck to you! I am also going for an EMG of my legs. I have already had an MRI of my thoracic and lumbar spine. My t-spine is riddled with herniations, but my lumbar spine is completely normal. I suffer from sciatica, among other things, so my PM doc is trying to figure out what's causing it. I have my EMG set up for the 20th. I had an EMG several years ago, and I remember it wasn't the most pleasant thing, so I am not looking forward to this.
