Any Colts fans out there??? I wonder if Peyton Manning's career is over. What do ya'll think?

  • I'm a steeler fan so I hope it is! Just kidding it sounds bad do you now if he blew adisc or what it must be worse than their tellin us
  • Not personally into football, but on the news last night Manning and his "neck surgery" came up, and "how serious is his neck injury" was also asked.

Down here (South Fl) no mention was made as to what he exactly did. Right now of course we are all assuming (and probably rightfully so) he had some sort of spine surgery. He was brought in with like a 90 million dollar contract over 10 years? That was brought up, and that is when the owner said "If we didn't have confidence that we would still be able to get a large amount of games out of him, he wouldn't have been awarded such a contract."

I paraphrased up there, as I don't remember exact word for word, but that is what they said down here. I am going to guess they don't feel his neck is a permanent limiting issue once healed. For you all that are fans, I wish your football star well in his recovery. :)

  • I hear he had surgery again today. I think I read it was an ACDF. Geez, how on earth could he even risk playing again? I AM ready for some football!!
  • I haven't heard which surgery yet, but they did say "he is out for the foreseeable future." Myself I know I felt great after I fused on my first ACDF, but too, it only took a yawn for my next level to go!!

So yeah, I don't think I would be returning to a 'crash, bang, whack' type activity either! (G) Some of these guys surprise us though....
