Hardware Removal?

I have a question for those of you who have had hardware removed What precipitated it?

Right now, I am still undergoing diagnostics for what is happening with my neck many months post revision fusion (spasm, swelling, headaches). Meanwhile, my most recent bloodwork shows a sed rate that is more than double the high end of the normal range and a CRP level that is more than 5 times the high end of the normal range. Other levels are also very high, but those are the two I know indicate inflammation.

Just wondering about people who have had reactions to the hardware...

  • I had mine removed from my lower back after i was fused only cause it was causing more pressure to my legs. When they did a hardware block the test actualy give me more releif then when it was actualy removed.
