Hi all. Feel like I had a lost year, lost summer going through medical system hell w/o yet a firm diagnosis and in pain everyday since Jan and losing function in hands & walking. I think it's in my cervical region. I posted details in Neck Pain & Spinal stenosis forums.

Hope to commiserate with all.

  • I've been dealing with 2 neurologists since April with no good diagnosis yet. Ticked off by how long out appts are scheduled while I suffered pain and decline.
  • I just had an l4/l5 bilateral microdiscectomy plus a followup cleanout surgery. My surgeon was an ortho, not neurologist, who is good at surgery and terrible at everything else, such as explaining recovery, risks, etc. It doesn't sound like you would be seeing him, but send me a PM if you want details.
