Hi everybody. Found this site after looking up some information relating to my injury. i was in a rtc on jan 31st 2008. Went to hospital and after x rays was discharged (although these x rays clearly show a fracture) and a doctor wrote on my notes it was broken. After it was diagnosed by my companys physio 4 months later i was put in traction for one week. Then a halo for a fortnight then i had the op. Was in a brace for six months and then returned to work (fitting truck tyres). Am now having all sorts of appointments and tests to see what is causing current issues related to the fusion of c1 and c2.

    You found a great site!
Sorry about all you're going through. It really is tough, esp the delay in diagnosis.

Good for the appointments now, though. Good luck with all your tests.
