I had ACDF surgery on 08/08/2011 and am going for my six week visit on Thursday. I,m really not sure if I am going to have therapy or not. I think I should because I am very nervous about returning to my job without being fit. I do a lot of heavy lifting and am afraid of hurting myself again.
I do have a plate and screws but need to know befor I go to the doc Thursday weather or not to push for therapy. My MRI showed a large herniation of C4 and C5 wich is what was repaired, but also a bulge at C3 there are also bulges at L1 and L2 with artritis. for these reasons I think I need therapy. Please tell me your thoughts

speedy recovery to all
