Hey there guys! New to this site and everyone has been so nice so far with my cervical neck pain! (Have been having some troubles in the shoulder/forearm and fingers). I am only 20 years old, so I shouldn't be going through this at all and I have played soccer for 15 out of my 20 years, so I have been active and in shape. I also workout 5x a week!
Anyways, to make a long story short, I woke up on boxing day last year (December 26, 2010), with a "tweaked" lower back. I did not hear or feel any pops in my back prior to this experience and I did not workout for about 3 days prior to this happening. Anyways, It would hurt if I even bent over or leaned back a tiny bit. I have NO PAIN running down my legs. The main pain is on the top of my butt and the very lower lumbar spine, and it is on BOTH sides. My back gets almost 75% better after a workout session at the gym, or running on the treadmill as it allows for more blood flow and looses up the muscles etc... so it does get better with more activity.. which makes me believe it isn't serious but how can it possibly go on for this long? I have been getting active release therapy for it lately and it helps for about that entire day until I wake up the next day. The pain is WORST when I wake up in the morning or lay down to relax at night..
What can this be? Again, it the pain doesn't go down my legs.
