  • I had C6/7 ACDF in February. Overall, I would have to say that its not terribly bad, i even returned to work about 2 weeks after. It did relieve most all of my arm pain and tingling in my fingers. I was only in the hospital for 2 days and everything went fine. I now however have a herniated disc right above it at c5/6, and a spineuos process lesion at c/5-c/7, so thats another issue. they do tell you thought that adjacent herniations are possible, though they told me it would be many many years, mine happend within about 7 months.

My issue is specific to me, but as far as the C6/7 ACDF, i was very worried about it and it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be.

hope everything turns out well for you.
