L5–S1 alif scheduled

My name is Kate and I've been lurking on this board for quite awhile and thought I should finally register and introduce myself.

I will be having an L5–S1 alif on Nov 21st. My disk at that level has completely degenerated and is bone on bone. Had mri, ct, xray, acupuncture, physical therapy, numerous esi's, 4 surgeons opinions, pain management. And here I am...
