Hi All.

Three years ago I had an ACDF C4-7. C3-4 disc degenerated to a point where the bones started to fuse. Doctor wants to do a Laminectomy (removal of the back part of the vertebral bones)on C3 and maybe C4. (I am showing signs of spinal cord injury)

Official nomenclature: Bilateral C3-4 Laminectomy, Posterior (approaching through the back of the neck).

Has anyone else had this done? What were your experiences with this? I would really like to hear from anyone who has had this surgery or knows anything about recovery from it.
