I had my EMG done again and the Dr. says I have nerve pain, peripheral Neuropathy not caused by my back! Now I'm being tested for Multiple Myeloma with blood tests first and have to get serum and urine electrophoresis and other auto-immune blood tests done. I've also had a lot of fatigue which is significant in ruling out auto-immune disease or Multiple Myeloma.
My MRI 3.8 years ago when I was first injured showed that my sciatica in my leg was caused by a herniated L5-S1 with nerve impingement that can cause sciatica.
My MRI done last month - Now the herniation is healed and now I have L4-L5 posterior disc bulge with prominent facets. No nerve root compression.
At L5-S1 there are prominent facets with a posterior osteocartilaginous bar. There is bilateral foraminal mild narrowing. The dimensions of the canal are satisfactory.
I have severe back pain all the time that's how I thought it's related to my leg peripheral neuropathy except my first herniation was on the opposite site of the leg sciatica.
I will let you know when I get my blood tests done and the results. Any prayers and well wishes appreciated. Charry
