I was wondering if anyone has ever expierenced pain in the battery/generator site. This is starting at the SI joint and following into the battery. The battery is working fine but the pain is really bad. Prior to the implant I have never had pain on the right side. I had the implant done in May of 2011.

  • I found that if I wear the wrong type of clothing for too long, it causes my battery/SI area to ache. I take an anti-inflammatory every day to combat the inflammation surrounding my lead anchors and battery.

    Welcome to Spine Health.

  • The more active I am, the more my hip area will ache. I also take an anti-inflammatory every day, but I don't think it does much for that ache. I have used Lidoderm patches with some good results when it gets real bad and also have tried Voltaren (sp?) cream, but didn't find it to do anything for that pain. Sometimes an ice pack gives me the best relief.
