Laminectomy, Discectomy

10 hours post-op. Bad headache but so glad its over...getting really sore as the night goes on...procedure only took less than 2 hrs and surgeon was please with how it went...hope to have a speedy recovery...im 33 healthy and a single mom of two...anyone w advice or suggestions would be awesome...thank you for reading!!

    What level did you have your discectomy/lami? Are you at home now? Do you have help at home?
    Try to take it easy, frequent short walks, resting in between. Stay ahead of the pain with your medications. Hopefully you have someone to help you with kids, cooking, cleaning etc.

    Hope your headache is better

  • So idk if what im experiencing is normal or if i have done something...i am experiencing R leg pain some tingles in R foot...not as intense, but is familiar of what i was dealing with pre-op...im slowing becoming discouraged...my discectomy/lami was L5-S1
