Everyone says that the surgeries that go well you don't hear about, so I thout I would throw out my 2 cents. I had minimally invasive back surgery, wich was a lumbar fusion with hardware ( l5-s1 ). It was actually an outpatient surgery. And now 3 years later if asked I would do ig again. But my advice to all who are considering surgery is be carefull selecting your surgeon . I know many that were opened uo with a long incision and a long recovery. I was back to work full time in three months. Just be very carefull pjcking your doc. Good luck to everyone.
