Hi All,
Like everyone else, I found this site while searching for a cure for my neck,back-upper/lower and now foot pain. I am 36yrs old male, married with a kid. I have been having back ache for over 18yrs, 24/7 of late roughly about 9 yrs I have developed sever neck pains (unable to move to the sides) and now my feet(bottom) of late(2yrs) have been killing me, sometimes I feel like I am falling apart, as all these pains are 24/7 every second of my life with me. I get really cranky due to my pains, when I tense up, my neck and back start to really kill me.

I tried Chiropractic in the US for about 4months, honestly I felt like a billion bucks and had to stop as I was moving to Canada, here is Canada I tried Decompression ( paid 3k out of pocket for a dozen sessions) with no relief insight. I went a Chiro. after a couple of weeks she mentioned I see a Accupuncturist, I did, for a 10-12 more sessions I had a some improvement nothing great, my feet during this time started to ache like hell, so I got customs fit orthotics ( till today does nothing)

I saw a back specialist, they recommended I have few more sessions of Chiro. so I switched Chiro as I felt the lady chiro wasn't strong enough to adjust me all the way, so half way was even worse as I strong felt like wanting someone to jump on my back to crack me up. I visited the new Chiropracter for a dozen visits the guy is good, but agan didn't feel I was getting anywhere, I moved to deep tissue masages, honestly when the lady pressed certain point in my neck and back I couldn't breath and I literally mean couldn't breath, it felt like blood circulation was cut off and I would pass off any minute, I really like the deep tissue but it would stretch me up and make me feel better for 20-30 minutes and I am rght back to square one.

I went to my family doctore several times mentoning my aches and quite frankly on the outside I look like a health person but I am just falling to peaces. She sent my for a MRI, during the process I came to know that it was only for my neck, disappointed it wasn't including my back I went ahead and got t done, reports came back and she said everything is fine( HOW THE HELL ON EARTH IS THAT POSSIBLE) I suffer every freaken second with pain and the report says nothing...this MRI was done few months ago-6-7mnths. I am not schedule for a back MRI as I visted my famly doctor last week complaning of numbness in both the bottom front of my feet.

I am not sure if this all is contributed to the fact I fell 4storeys when I was in my preteens ( landed right on my feet with no scratch or bruise, I just started walking right away like nothing every happened) I didn't fall on butt or side I just fell and stood straght.

Also, when I sit and lean forward and try taking a deep breath, it HURTS and I am breakless. feels like someone is squeezing something on the insides of my on the left side.

That being said, does anyone suffer with my similar misfortunes as far as pain goes?

P.S It is very difficult for me to pin poin the exact place of my pain in my back and neck, however I noticed when I got the deep tissue massage done, I could. I am not sure if I suffer from a sever case of muscle inflamation. Also, I forgot to mention, when at one point when a physiotherapst did some sort of a plastering( she used a big stick plaster for my left middle back and pulled it towards the upper and stuck it- it felt good. but as soon as she took it off the pain came back.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am starting to get really worried as I am only 36.

Pain something never to have and wish upon someone else.

  • Welcome...though I hate saying that because being here means you are in pain. From reading your story, it sounds like you are indeed in pain.

I don't quite suffer from everything you mention but had a severe disc rupture in lower back and lost feeling down one leg and foot but luckily overcame the body mechanic issues it caused....limping, hip issues, etc. But each day is a challenge and each few months I re-assess my 'plan'.

Stick around...folks on the various boards may be able to offer insights into how they get along with their pain.

  • Thank you DNice. I sure hope so to. Will stick around, I came across this website EDIT I am going to give those four things a shot, I belive I suffer from a sever muscle inflamation that is causing me pain. I just hope it works, will post about progress, the toughest part is hunting them down.

I forgot to mention one thing in my earlier post, I had been for a back massage the year before last in December, the next morning I couldn't turn my neck, I had to keep it the way I woke up. I literally couldn't move my neck and when I tried ( I belive I moved less than half an inch) I blacked out and woke up on the floor, I literally had my face looking downwards facing right, never in my whole life have I ever ever felt such pain, it ran all the way to the back of my left eye and it would lterally pull a certain nerve in my neck. I immediately had my wife drive me to the ER, I asked the doctor to give me the strongest injection that would give me some relief, I sat there for about half an hour being monitored due to the injection administered, was a high dose of something( sorry don't recollect the name) atlast I was able to move my neck.

I hope one day I wake up and all my pain is gone. I am sure everyone is thought/thinking about it.

  • 18 Freaken years, eighteennnnnnn darn years I have suffered with neck, shoulder, upper and lower back pain 24/7, ironically I am from India, didn't know the benifits of turmeric, or atleast wasn't told about. I poped in whole raw garlics and everything in between to get relife, nothing ever worked, been to a Chiropracter, physio, decompression, deep tissue massages, accupuncture, pain killers and shots...none and I mean none of that shit worked. I am 37yrs male, I came across this website EDITED well end of January I caught bronchitis and was given antibiotics, in the mean time I went to GNC to check for the 4 herbs mentioned in the above site, I was confused so decided to just take a tsp of turmeic from my kitchen that I got from my local grocery store along with warm milk, first thing morning and just before bed. Two days later, I woke up for the first time in 18yrs pain free, ususally my neck, shoulder and my whole back would cramp and hurt, from Feburary 1st 2012 up until today I have been pain free, I have been faithfully taking turmeric. I don't care about how I have also lost weight and look much younger as my wife noticed, ALL THAT I CARE ABOUT IS BEEING PAIN FREE.....which is what I AM TODAY....huh if I only knew 18yrs ago...even though it's been used in India in every other dish and most knew about its benifits....I am one of those few unlucky ones to have not been told/educated about....DARN....PAIN FREE AT LAST....

P.S. I am going to continue taking turmeric, however, I am going to give the pill form a shot as I know the purety from the grocery store isn't as much as the pills.

Yes, I have also got my MRI for my neck and back taken, only to be told. nothing wrong. Oh well, i.e. advance.
