C5-C6, C6-C7

I had 2 discs removed and 3 vertebrae fused in May 2010,
C5-C6, C6-C7, then in July 2010, went through a year of therapy. My neurologist put me on Lyrica 150mg twice a day. I received a letter from Express Scripts stating that I could get neurontin (gabapentin) at quite a reduced rate. I've never tried Neurontin. I'm thinking of asking my neurologist to possibly bump me up to a higher dosage except I have noticed a slight memory loss with Lyrica. Just recently, had a severe pain in my wrist only to find out that I have Basil Joint Arthritis. I haven't experienced this much pain since having rotator cuff surgery a few years back...
I'll be 56 in another month. Reading through the posts, it appears that memory loss is a common issue with those taking Lyrica. I'm new to this forum and curious if anybody has taken anything other then Lyrica or Neurontin and had better results. Thanks.
