Lower Back And Tailbone Pressure Uncomfortable

Please read and hope u can give me some advice/experience:

O:K I am tired of having an uncomfortable lower back. I dont know what's wrong with me, i have slept on my stomach all my life in various positions to get comforatable, leg/knee 1 arm stretched out lying in almost side position but not. Up untill about a half a year ago or a month or two more, i started having lower back. So i decided to try and change my sleep positions from stomach to back and or side, and guess what, I got some relief for a day or two i think (it was a long time ago, in fact I can't recall if I actually did change my sleeping position because of back pain or not, but I think that was the case) and then my tailbone/pelvic area startedf to be really uncomforatable to the point where it was bothering me alday, especially when i sat for a little while. My tailbone really hurts when i sleep on my back throughout the dayafter and also when i wake up. When i sleep on my side my tailbone hurts throughout the day almost just as bad but i don't notice it as much in the morning. So I bought new pillows a new firm mattress from sealy/sleepcountry $800, essentia pillows all for not, infact when i sleep on the $200 essentia pillow on my side i wake up with my ear KILLING me because of the compression of the foam. So long story short I have gone back and forth between position (except back position won't do that) experiencing different kinds of comfortableness. When i sleep on my stomach my lower back feels weak someday and my spine cracks/ it does make it uncomfortable to sit but not in the same way as when i sleep on my side. It can be hard to lift thinngs and do certain things when my lower back hurts and feels like this. When i sleep on my side, my tailbone has some sort of really uncomforatable pressure on it throughout the day, not so much when standing, but when i sit and once again lift things, I feal the pain/weakness there. So what do u think?

  • I think you need to see your Dr. for an exam and possible s-rays etc.

    My back started out like that also just killing me all the time with pressure on my lower lumbar and sacral pain. Hard to stand in one spot ie: brushing teeth or doing dishes. Hard to open jars or open doors without the back pain and weakness but that's my issues.

    Do you have any tingling or pain in your leg at all?

    Really we can just take guesses as to what it would be but check in with your Dr. and nip this pain in the bud with Physiotherapy and a proper exam by your Dr. Take care and let us know what's going on. Charry

  • No, it is not that bad, and no pain in leg. Your back pain i think is more severe than mine, mine is mainly just uncomfortable and it effects me when i lift/play sports/or run...stuff like that. It does not effect me in the small areas like opening a jar or a door, sorry to hear, hope your better. My spine/and or tailbone start feeling really uncomfortable from sitting and I feel the slight weakness throughout the day. I need to change my positions alot.
  • Weak feeling and only pain in my back though. See your Dr. and work on building your core muscle strength. Ice is good and heat also. Charry
