Hi I had a discectomy 3 years ago this month (feb) I have recently started to suffer from the same pain as before the operation, the pain is as inyense as last time, the same places, (upper outside of my left hip, thigh and out side of my knee and calf) the pain is worse in the mornings and then later at night, the pain med's my doctor has given me make me drousey and so i can not take them whilst at work. Any body experineced similar conditions?

  • Sigh....have you talked to your doctor?
Sounds like it's time to. It could just be you need some PT to help stretch and balance out the strength of your left and right side. Or, you could have inflammation but you don't want to guess.

Wish I could be more helpful.
