Most of you know that I love to cook. Tonight, I was using our mandolin to cut up some sweet potato for a nice healthy and tasty treat
I got through 2 potato when then my finger and the mandolin meet. The mandolin won! No one was home at the time, so I tried to patch things up. I took a good slice out of the tip of my finger... too much to stitch up, but enough to bleed all over.
So tonight and probably for a while, I will be semi-here. The finger I sliced up was my left, which is what I use.
All of this reinforced my belief in that folks dealing with chronic pain can handle that, but give us some acute pain, and we scream. My middle left finger is all bandaged up right now, so please excuse me not posting that much, or the spelling (which I am so bad at to begin with)
