I originally posted this in the surgery forum, but it seems like so many people in the stenosis forum have had surgeries, so I figured I might get some good answers by posting it here:
I am not sure the best way to go about soliciting a second opinion. When I see the doctor I've selected, do I merely give him all my test results, X-rays, nerve studies, etc and ask him, Hey what do you think of this? (without telling him in advance what my doc has said)
Or do I immediately tell him my previous dr.'s diagnosis and treatment plan?
Does anyone think there's a difference?
