Injections 3 weeks in a row

Anyone else ever go through this? I know the last one is the RA. He had said I needed to have 2 more injections before having that done, I just didn't know he meant he was going to do it 3 weeks in a row!

The facet joint injections helped more than directly into the nerves so not sure what he is doing for the first injection.

If you have had RA, did it help? Did it hurt afterwards? He said it would feel like a really bad sunburn for a few days afterwards.

Anyone else experience this?

  • I get my facet joint injections in the beginning of may. At the end of May, i am having one side done with RFA. Then at the end of June the other side will be done with RFA.

I just hope that the RFA's provide a longer lasting pain relief. The injections into the nerves lasted about a week. The facet joint injections last between 2-3 weeks.

Not sure what the next step is after these.
