I'm only 24 and my back looks like a wreck but I don't know what it is... Here are my X-rays.

I know this is abnormal. I have upper, middle, and lower back pain all the time and I'm only 24 years old. I carried a very heavy backpack in school and I walked to and from school. I know my hips are displaced backwards, and I have a bit of scoliosis, but I don't know what to call the problem seen from the side-view. It looks like compression. My neck also has essentially no bend in it. Trying to get comfortable enough to sleep at night is awful! My back cracks and pops all the time!

What is going on here, and what can I do about it? I got these X-rays in a consultation with a chiropractor but after paying for the X-rays could not afford to become a patient there. I have the worst health insurance in the world!

Here is the link to the X-ray pictures:

I hope someone can help :(

  • You need to get the money together and go back to the chiropractor. He or she can explain your x-rays to you.

This forum is made up of people who, like you, have back and/or neck issues. You can get support from us and we can give you advice based on our personal life experiences with back and/or neck issues.

Sorry, but unfortunately, we don't have the medical training to explain x-rays, CT Scans, or MRI's to each other.
  • See if you can get some kind of Health Insurance as a student without any medical issues as you haven't seen a Medical Dr. yet.

If you have health insurance see what they pay for.

I have mild scoliosis and kyphosis and lordosis of my spine and have had issues with my back as an older person. Try to get the help you need with treatment for your back. Take care. Charry
