one year after cervical fusion with issues
hi everyone I had a cervical fusion last March, stem cell (trinity)was used, which i still really donot understand, I was told that i had spinal cord compression ( vertebrae slipped into spinal cord)I was told that if i did not do the fusion that i was facing increasing problems and be paralyzed I had bad neck pain for 7 years, then acute new symptoms developed. I was feeling like my chest / heart was tight all the time and was having involuntary jerks and movement in my left arm. My problem now is that , although i am doing so much better and should be grateful. I am still experiencing problems in my left arm, if not medicated I have the constant feeling that my nerves in my arm and chest are tightening and the pain gets bad, also chronic headaches, sometimes when i lay down i can feel the metal in my neck I was told before the procedure that there was no guarantee that i would improve however i was told that i may be left with symptoms but if didnt have surgery that i would continue to get worse. Now when i go to surgeon i am told " my neck was fixed" and i have had 3 MRI of arm ( nothing shows}I am so frustrated and feel like i am being dismissed
