thoracic meets chiropractic

i thought i'd ask if any of you have had good luck with chiropractors?

my primary doc told me not to see them. said they're all quacks. he's a grumpy old guy but has been my doc since birth. so i ignored him and went anyway.

the chiro guy did something to my neck twisting and snapping it. now it hurts but he said that'll go away in a few days. he did something to my middle and upper back though and said he reset it. like pressing some button on a computer thing. sounded weird but my thoracic doesn't hurt. maybe just cause my neck does, har, har.

he gave me this exercise to do. my life partner is helping me cause ya can't do it by yourself. you get on the top landing and lean over the stairs backwards. weird, scares the heck out of me. as you move out more and lean back the stair digs like mad into your thoracic where it hurts. gawd i was in tears leaning back doing it. when my partner pulled me up and told me to stop it. i went to lie down and rest. when i got up the pain was gone. has been for a lil bit. don't know if this reset thing makes any sense but it works right now.

sure beats letting some doc stick needles in my back again.
