Is L2 fracture fit for Pregnancy?

Hi, My wife met with an accident before marriage,Got Fracture in L2 in Backbone, Treated well with surgery, Doctors fit a Clam on L2, She feels pain often, I am worried, Is Pregnancy fit for her? I Mean During Pregnancy a female's backbone bends but my wife's L2 is supported by a clam, Does it make any harm to her?

  • i think thats a question to be asking her doctor. If the area has been surgically fixed and she was cleared then she should have some strength there but the pressure of bearing a child is a lot on the spine so only a doctor could answer that question. If she's still having a lot of pain there then putting stress on that area will increase the pain no doubt.i hope this helps.
