July 2011, I had ALIF with posterior pedicel screw at L5/S1.... In my MRI, the Dr that read it said there was some damage at L4 also but the Neuro-surgeon didn't think it was bad enough to operate on. Now I am starting to have pain down my leg, into the knee both legs ..... Before surgery I only had it in the right leg.

My question is ( I know these replies are only opinion)....what are my chances I will need surgery again? I have heard that once you get a fusion, any areas with damage will start to quickly get worse ....

Thanks for your thoughts.
