Microdiscectomy a success!

I had a microdiscectomy 7 weeks ago on my L5 S1 and the
shooting nerve pain running down my hamstring and the numbness was gone by the time I was in the recovery room.

My baby was 6.5 months at the time and even with my over doing it to care from him I feel so much better.
I iced my back a few times a day especially after any straining with the baby.

I still have lower back soreness especially in the morning
but my surgery was a success.

I had already been through PT and cortisone injections
prior to surgery but it didn't help.

My son is beginning to crawl and I am so glad I had the surgery when I did.

I went to a surgeon that had operated on numerous friends and aquaintences and he did a great job.

Already took a Zumba class this week!

I just wanted to share my success story.
Good luck all.
