  • Have you tried physical therapy? Is your chiro doing a justing your back? That might not be in your best interest. What about injections? Sometimes getting the medications right in the area will provide longer relief. I myself, get them and after the series of three have gotten pretty good results, although I do have to keep up my daily stretches. Hopefully you are stretching and stretching a lot, along with walking and keeping your core body strength up. Don't forget after treatments or exercise to ice and heat, which ever works best for you. Although I have found sleeping on heat only makes it worse through the night.

If it comes down to it, surgery is not the end all, but I do encourage you to use all conservative type treatments first. Have you been seen by a spine specialist, other than a chiro, and found out their recommendations and treatments you should be pursuing? If not that is something I would do for sure.
  • I Been Going To The Chiro For Already 4 Weeks He Is Trying Get The Annual Tear Healed & Those 2 Bulge Discs. He Does His Work For 5 Minutes Then There is Another Room That Does Simulation Waves And Ice.. For 15 Minutes Then Ultrasound And Cris Cross Lumbar... I Go To The Chiro 3 Times a Week
  • Hi mike. I have similar herniations and my chiro told me that he couldn't fix the herniations just the alignment of the spine. He explained to me that the disc is like an egg once its cracked its cracked. Only time and conservative methods may heal the disc. You may want to try some pt as the others have said.
  • i get terrible cramps, left thigh and lower back pains along with either fever, flu or diarrhea and blackouts during first 3 days of my periods. why is it so? and what vitamins and diet should i follow to help improve this condition?
