cervical myelopathy stenosis

hi every one..... Hpoe there is somebody that can talk to me about this aweful diease.... I am just 48 and have had cervical myelopathy stenosis for about 5 yrs. The pain, numbness and tightness is most of the time so hard to handle... I sit in my room almost 24 hours a day... If there is anybody out there who can help me understand all this and if there is anything i can do to help myself better than what im doing like exersies or certain meds... I would be so thankful to ya if you would help me... Bless all of us that is going through this alone...

    Have you seen a surgeon? I had severe stenosis at all cervical levels and for me the only thing that would help is surgery. Are you under the care of a pain doc? If you read the articles on SH I think you find some of the answers you may be looking for. I know when I was dealing with stenosis I had a very hard time so a big hug goes out to you.
  • What symptoms were you dealing with in regards to your stenosis?
