I am new here and hope this is where I should ask. I had a 2 level ACDFP on 4/30 and my incision has lumps when you touch it and is puffy on one end, and VERY tender/painful to the touch. No fever and no drainage. I have started using Mederma once a day to hopefully rid of scar , but hate applying it because the tenderness really bothers me. The incision hurt before I started the Mederma . The incision also hurts more when I extend my neck back/ looking upwards. I will get X-ray in 2 weeks and have appt with NS in 3 weeks.
Does anyone else have any experience with lumpy tender incision this far out.
Also, when will I be able to sleep on my side :-(
