I had a ADDC

I had my surgury on my c4 -c6 on june 8th 2012. i am still haveing pain in my arm when i lift it over my head or straighen it out.it is going on 7 weeks since my surgery. does any one else have any issues like this.and when i ride in a car my shoudlder are just burning with pain. please help i need anwsers


  • Your fusion is to new and it is going to take time for it to settle down, so give it some more time. Hopefully your doctor has you on a good muscle relaxer, as sometimes that is what it takes following surgery. As you fuse you might need to lie down more often to help it out and limit your time in a vehicle for awhile and or build your tolerance back up. Don't forget to ice or heat as they can go along way. AS you know walking is the best thing you can do right now so walk walk walk.
