new post from a not so new member

Hello everyone,

I thought I drop a line to say hello to my old friends and hello to the new ones to come. Back in 2005 this site was a haven for me when I hurt my back. Then I underwent fusion from L5-S1 in Dec 2007, then fell off the face of the earth. I went through a lot from funeral-divorce-eviction-funeral in less than a year. That was a lot to deal with and no one to talk too about what I was feeling, dealing, and coping with, so I had to regroup with self.

Even though the surgery was deemed "successful" it never explained my chronic pain. I did file for SSD and lost as well as the WC. So I decided to return to school in 2009 to become a Psychologist and help others like us who deals with so much, I am working on my last year into my BA.

I am no expert in the mental psyche but can help in anyway that I can. Hope to hear from y'all.
