Abdominal tightness and leg weakness

I'm looking for some feedback and piece of mind..It's been three weeks that I've been experiencing odd, frustrating and exhausting symptoms..It started with skin numbness from my belly button down to my toes..now I feel extreme abdominal tightness and leg weakness. Walking is brutal-I feel like I've put on a really tight belt and it slowly gets tighter as I walk or even stand. My only relief is lying down, I feel like the tightness releases a bit. I'm scheduled for an EMG in a week and a half but I'm so exhausted and don't know how I'm going to get through another week. My legs feel really heavy on top of the abdominal restriction..has anyone experienced this before??
