Swollen Lymph Nodes Post Op 3 level fusion

Hi everyone! Im sorry for reposting the same question but I think it might get lost in my original post.

I had a 3 level fusion with instrumentatiion on July 22. I had a few complications but am now home and feel I am recovering well. Has anyone else dealt with painful swollen lymphnodes (groin)? I have bilateral swelling in my groin area, right side much worse. Has increased over the past 2 days. Any info is appreciated!

  • Hi Ellen, have you noticed any fever or chilld. Usually when lymph nodes swell it is because body is fighting off infection somewhere. I would give your doctor a call tomorrow and see if maybe they can do some blood work to check for infection. I hope everything is alright and you continue to heal from surgery.
