Epidural abscess surgery

September 2011, I had surgery to remove Epidural abscess of the spine.Almost a year later after 2 more MRI's Where I had the infection at,it left scare tissue that is pressing on the nerve real bad.My Doctor said no surgery would help to remove it.When I sit down feel's like a knife sticking up me.It seems to only brother me at night time.
My meds have been Vicodine and Neurontin 1,000mgs.3 times a day.No help so now I'm trying pain patch's 25mgs every 72 hours I change them plus still on the Neurontin.Has anyone else had this problem after surgery?
